How to Install Flash Player 10 on Linux 64-bit

Download the plugin to start the installation and you’ll be asked where to save the file.
Place the .tar.gz file on desktop and it will be downloaded.
Stop the active browser.
Remove all existing Adobe Flash Player installations from the system.
Unpack the file. A directory with contains libflashplayer.so will be created.
Copy libflashplayer.so to ~/.mozilla/plugins. Create the ‘plugins’ folder if it does not exist yet.
Launch your browser. To verify installation in Firefox choose Help > About Plug-ins from the browser menu.

Downgrade iPhone 3GS 3.1 to 3.0 OS Firmware

Previously Dev Team warned iPhone users not to upgrade their iPhone to iPhone OS 3.1 beta firmware. But it seems not all users listen to the warning, they still upgrade to OS 3.1 Beta firmware both accidentally or intentionally, and now most of them end up looking for a guide to downgrade to the previous iPhone OS 3.0 Firmware. It’s worth noting that the only downgrade able is from iPhone OS 3.1 to 3.0 but baseband will remain 05.08.01.

Minimum Requirements:

1. You have already have ITunes 8.2 installed on your computer.
2. Own Original iPhone 3GS OS 3.0 Firmware.

The following are guides to Downgrade iPhone 3GS 3.1 to 3.0 OS Firmware

Step 1: Use USB Cable to connect your iPhone to your computer

Step 2: Switch of your iPhone and put it in DFU mode with following instructions

- Click the Home + Power On button for 10 seconds exactly

- Release the power button and continue to click on Home

Step 3: To continue to the next step press OK.

Step 4 : Press ALT from your keyboard and then ‘Restore’ on your iTunes at the same time (together) and Locate & Select the original iPhone 3GS 3.0 firmware

Step 5: Now you get to make a confirmation by pressing Restore.

Step 6: Don’t be worry if you receive this message: “Unknown error occurred (1015)” from iTunes, just ignore it and click OK to go on to next step. Like in the following image:

Step 8 And then extract “iRecovery-Mac.zip” file on the desktop.

Step 9 Open application ‘Terminal’ (Applications> Utilities) and enter- cd desktop

Step 11 Once the iPhone 3GS is rebooted, you can notice the ‘Emergency calls only’. Now wait till the iTunes is uploaded and reactivates your iPhone 3GS automatically.

Step 12 You can now restore a backup or configure the phone as “new.” with the iPhone Firmware 3.0.

It’s a good news because Apple has launched iTunes 8.2 and QuickTime 7.6.2 through software update menu today. This new launch of iTunes 8.2 can be a sign that iPhone OS 3.0 will be released to public soon considering iTunes 8.2 is equipped with support for iPhone OS 3.0. But don’t try to install 8.2 if you have plan to jailbreak iPhone OS 3.0.

How To Downgrade an iPhone App

How to downgrade iPhone app? Having a large quantity of apps will make us upgrade and update our iPhone and iPod touch, and this kind of activity is becoming more often and often and evolved to be daily activity.

But there’s a problem that usually occurs in this activity because not all updates are made equally, sometimes the update not giving us a hand yet a punch! So before you start to do anything nasty like smacking your iPhone to the floor, you better not, you are able to downgrade the app back to the way you love it.

Here are ways on How to downgrade iPhone app:

Click to embiggen, to find the offending app.

1. Navigate to the Mobile Applications folder. Music>iTunes>Mobile Applications. To do this first step, just be sure there’s previous version of the app. But if the app is still new or you just bought it, there’s no previous versions.

Move that APP! Click to embiggen.

2. Remove the update in question to the desktop, or anywhere else on the Mac besides the Mobile Applications folder. Quit and restart iTunes. Drag the older version of the app to the iTunes library. You may be confronted with a dialog dox warning you you are replacing an app with an older version. That’s exactly what you want to do.

So long iNetwork Test. For now…

3. Delete the app from your iPhone. It’s time to delete the app from your iPhone. Please remember any data you’ve saved will be lost when the downgrade process takes place and You’ll be warned by your iPhone about this. Be sure on which one you choose to downgrade, how much data inside it, and if you’re ok of losing it.

4. Attach your iPhone to iTunes, navigate to the Applications tab in iTunes and add a check next to the app in question to have it reinstalled. Click apply and sync your iPhone.

5. And then the iTunes will be reinstalling the app on your iPhone. Now you can now enjoy and go back to your app using ways without all the bug fixes and those fancy updates.

And from now on every time you want to check for app updates, iTunes will be presenting you with the latest version of the app you downgraded. To continue your old-school app-using ways, instead of clicking “Download All Free Updates,” just download the apps you want individually.
